Adult Summer Reading:
Additional programs and activities will be added throughout the program weekly. This page will have all of our program and activities posted throughout the summer. Parents are encouraged to join! Reading 15 children’s books to a child counts as 1 adult book! Remember e-books and e-audiobooks count too!
Family Night
Come attend our Father’s Day Family Night on Tuesday, June 13th at 6:30 pm. A craft is included. Door prizes will be given away and a summer reading secret code will be given to all who attend.
Summer Reading Speaker & Craft Sessions
Join the Marion Twp. Branch Library on Monday, June 12th for a speaker and craft session with Kelly Hemmelgarn of the Animal Protection League. The craft will be a bookmark. Sessions will run at 1:30 pm and repeating again at 3 pm. Door prizes will be awarded. Give us a donation for the Animal Protection League and we will give you a secret code.
Summer Reading Kick off Party
Our summer reading kick off party will be on Monday, June 5th at 1:30 pm. Some members of the Marion Local High School Band will be here to present. You will receive a secret code for coming.
SRP – Grand Lake St. Marys Park District
Join us on Monday, June 13th for our summer reading program. Our first session will begin at 1:30 pm and will be presented by a representative from the Grand Lake St. Marys Park District. The craft will be an octopus. Our second session (which is repeated from the 1:30) will begin at 3 pm. No pre-registration required. Door prizes will be given away. Everyone welcome.
Summer Reading Program – Coming Soon!
The summer reading program at the four Mercer County District Libraries will begin soon!
Early Bird Signup begins on May 21, 2022. This will allow you to get signed up, create readers, and take a look at the program.
Content is being loaded into the website right now, but almost everything will be ready to view by Saturday May 21, 2022.
Each library has their own flyer / calendar with information, but you are encouraged to attend and visit our other libraries. Codes and activities will work across the program.
Book logging begins (and the program officially starts) on June 3rd, 2022!
